We collect only the information we need to operate Boomingo and keep your subscription active.
1.1 Account & Profile
- Name, email address and phone number of the business owner
- Business name, type and website
1.2 Loyalty Program Content
- Pass design, number of stamps required, reward description
1.3 Subscription & Billing
- Apple StoreKit receipt ID, Google Play purchase token, Stripe checkout session ID
- Product ID, price tier, currency, purchase date, renewal status
- We never receive your full card number or Apple/Google account credentials.
1.4 Device & Usage
- Device model, operating-system version, locale, IP-derived region
- Anonymous in-app events (screen opens, button taps, crashes, etc.)
1.5 Permissions
- Camera access for scanning QR codes on loyalty passes
2. How We Use Your Information
- Setting up and managing loyalty programs
- Creating customised loyalty passes
- Verifying subscriptions, unlocking pro features and processing renewals
- Communicating with business owners
- Providing technical, billing and customer support
- Preventing fraud, charge-backs and abuse
- Producing aggregate, anonymous statistics on feature usage and crashes
3. Subscriptions, Billing & Payments
- 30-Day Risk-Free Trial (when offered) - Some subscription plans include a complimentary 30-day trial. If your plan is eligible, no charges are applied during this period.
- Trial Conversion (if a trial is included) - For plans that offer a trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan - and the first payment will be processed - unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends.
- Automatic Renewal - Subscriptions renew on a monthly or annual basis (according to the plan you selected) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current billing period expires.

Payment is processed through:
- your Apple ID for iOS in-app purchases
- your Google Play account for Android in-app purchases
- credit/debit cards via Stripe for web purchases

You can manage or cancel your subscription via:
- iOS: Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play › Payments & Subscriptions
- Web: Boomingo Dashboard › Manage Subscription
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Cancelled subscriptions are not refunded.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the following processors, and solely for the purposes listed:
- Apple Inc. - process iOS purchases and validate StoreKit receipts
- Google LLC - process Android purchases and validate Play purchase tokens
- Stripe Payments - process web card payments, detect fraud and manage the billing portal
- RevenueCat Inc. - manage cross-platform in-app subscriptions and sync purchase data
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics) - collect anonymous metrics and crash reports
- Legal or regulatory authorities - where required to comply with law or defend legal claims
Business owners may share their loyalty passes directly with customers; Boomingo is not responsible for any onward sharing.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Business owners may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by emailing support@boomingo.io. We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated in this policy.
6. Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and stored with AES-256 encryption at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel under strict confidentiality obligations.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Please review this page periodically for the latest information.
